Luthier Bob Gernandt has spent most of his life in the Heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Here he has been influenced by many styles of music. To name a few, local mountain, Bluegrass, Celtic (Irish) and Jazz music. Due to these influences, Bob builds a variety of stringed instruments.
Gernandt works with individual customers, helping them select the finest woods and details that best suit their indi idual tastes and personality.
