Gernandt Stringed Instruments

Looking for something different and more unique, Gernandt designed the first concert model in the 1970’s.

 

The Concert Dulcimers design and larger body gives it the fullest, most balanced tone and volume of all Gernandt’s dulcimer models. It is designed with a 27.5- inch scale length. This model has become the performer’s choice, a true joy to own and play.

 

This dulcimer comes standard with five strings (a double melody, double middle and single bass}. This arrangement increases the volume and sweetens the balance of the entire custom-built  instrument.

 

All Gernandt dulcimers come with the standard six and one half fret. Additional frets are available on request.
